Eligibility Criteria
- This scholarship will be awarded to one (1) applicant.
- The applicant must be a member of the Airline Dispatchers Federation.
- The applicant will submit a resume and descriptive essay and/or cover letter.
- The applicant will be subject to the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be a US Citizen OR hold current authorization to live and receive education within the United States of America not to expire prior to the completion of the dispatch course.
- This scholarship is for tuition only. All other expenses (including but not limited to: travel, lodging, ground transportation, food, FAA exam fees) are the responsibility of the recipient.
- The scholarship recipient must have time available to attend training and study without distraction. Practical testing will follow the course completion date.
- The scholarship recipient will be responsible for costs incurred if remedial training is needed due to lack of study or non-compliance with policies found within the school's instructional handbook.
- The scholarship recipient must schedule training to commence within one (1) year of the scholarship award date, else the scholarship may be voided.
- There is no promise of employment not guarantee of an FAA certificate.
