ADF is a not for profit advocacy group. We exist solely to represent the interests, the voice, and the future of Aircraft Dispatchers across the aviation industry. We do not operate for profit. We operate for you — for the collective good of our profession, our safety standards, and our evolving role in aviation.
Every advancement ADF has championed — whether it’s influencing regulatory policy, enhancing training standards, or representing dispatchers at national forums — has been possible because of volunteers. People who gave their time, their knowledge, and their passion without expectation of reward. Simply because they believed in what we stand for.
When you volunteer with ADF, you’re doing more than lending a helping hand.
You are:
- Ensuring dispatchers have a seat at the table in critical conversations about our industry’s future.
- Driving improvements in safety, education, and professional standards.
- Strengthening the credibility and recognition of dispatchers nationwide.
Volunteering doesn’t have to mean giving up large amounts of time. Whether it’s serving on a working group, attending meetings, providing feedback on a project, or simply helping spread awareness of ADF’s mission — every action matters. Your participation, no matter how big or small, builds momentum.
And just as importantly, volunteering gives back to you too. It opens doors for networking, leadership development, and the opportunity to shape the future of the dispatcher profession in a way few other opportunities can offer.
As dispatchers, we know better than anyone that teamwork is everything. We succeed when we look out for one another, when we advocate for better tools, better training, and better representation. ADF is the extension of that teamwork on a national scale.
I encourage each of you to find a way to get involved — even in a small way — and be part of the change we all want to see. Because without volunteers, there is no ADF. And without ADF, the voice of the dispatcher community would be much quieter.
