November 2015 VOR Quiz

This month's VOR is named after a town that is not near the navaid, because its location is so remote.
It makes up a low altitude airway.  Planes fly over the Plain!
It is near the site of a huge environmental disaster that occurred in the early 20th Century, but that was not the Fault of the VOR.

September 2015 VOR Quiz

This navaid is located at a small airport in the United States, and is named after the nearby town. That town's name is incorrectly spelled.

The town’s name, a Swedish word, was “corrected" to the spelling of an English word.

There is a large medical professional also located at the airport.
